Tom then...
Tom attended the National Youth Music Theatre from 1990 to 1995, and then completed three years at the Guildford School of Acting. After graduating, it wasn't an immediate leap into the limelight. He did some theatre work and a few bit parts in TV, but it wasn't until he landed a part in Brit flick
Fakers that his luck started to change.
After
Fakers, and a stint of auditions in Hollywood, Tom spent a few months perfecting and recreating a Fred Estaire tap routine from the film "A Damsel In Distress". 800 copies were sent out to various producers and directors in the business, hoping to drum up some interest in his work and showcase his talents. Luckily for him, and Holby fans, this is what led to his casting as Sam and got he where he is today.
